Free Couple Shoot

Photographs help capture your unique love story and it starts during your engagement.

Love is in the air - it's a great time to get some portraits and some fun romantic pictures taken.

Montage Bride offers a Free Couple Shoot to any couple who has not yet signed an agreement with another photographer.  Click our website at FreeCoupleShoot.com to view sample photo galleries and Montage Movies.  It's a great way to have some professional photos taken and to get to know our style and personality as photographers.

The Free Couple Shoot usually lasts 45-60 minutes at a location of your choice.  We upload all the photos on an online gallery web site and you can view and order any photos you would like.  You are not obligated in any way.  If you later decide to use our photography for your wedding, the images from Engagement / Couple Shoot becomes part of your wedding package and you own them with full unlimited print rights!

We first custom enhance select photo proofs for color, lighting, contrast, exposure etc. and upload to a professional photo lab.  You can view and order multiple print sizes conveniently online. 

You can choose one free photo and we will email it to you so you can use it for your Engagement Announcement Photo.

Your photos will be uploaded on a flash web site with links to photo galleries and possibly a You Tube version of a Montage Movie.  We now include links to a YouTube video version so you can embed your movie in your blog, My Space or Facebook website.  We even give you an easy-to-remember web domain name you can share with family and friends.

You can qualify for our Free Couple Shoot if you do not yet have a photographer for your wedding.  It's gives you a chance to "test-drive" a photographer.  It lets us earn your respect and consideration with what we hope are amazing photos.

Schedule an engagement photo shoot soon after he's popped the question!  The couple shoot should include simple portraits that are great for a newspaper engagement announcement photo.  You also want the best photos framed of you as a couple that you can have by your computer and night stand. The shoot could and should include many more ideas.  Here is a list we use when photographing a Free Couple Shoot - 

- Traditional Portraits with several different on-location settings - both looking into the camera - suitable for engagement announcement, you and for your moms!

- Snuzzy Wuzzy Close-up Photos - intimate shots - a hand on the neck or cheek tenderly, eskimo and butterfly kiss variations, the photographic kiss just before your lips meet!

- Artistic Paparazzi Shots - as a couple you are interacting and having fun, but NOT looking at the camera - shots of you walking holding hands, a profile kiss on the forehead, the romantic gaze!

- Individual Fashion Model Photos - each of you alone - glamour shots for the girl “sell some shampoo” - GQ shots for the guy - have some fun and bring out your personality.

- Profile Silouhette Photos - classic sun-kiss shot with the sun between your lips - profile shot against the sky with custom camera settings - lips barely apart and ready to kiss!

- Dancing Photos - you gotta practice for the reception anyway right?  Go through some swing dance moves - “Twirl Your Girl” - fireman’s carry and swirl, how about the Jitterbug or Macarena!

- Bring Some Props - what defines and reflects your personalities, hobbies and interests ?  Musical instruments - college gear - sports - vehicles - inside jokes - have fun!

- Special Places - where did you first meet?  How about your first kiss or where he proposed?  What place has special meaning for your both as a couple?

- Bring Extra Outfits - Select a casual outfit and also a dressed up look - avoid light colors or your top so your faces aren’t washed out and avoid heavy prints or patterns for your top also.

- Crazy Freestyle Shots - get out of your comfort zone - skip down the street holding hands, jump high in the air together, wrestle in the daffodils, chase each other, tickle until it hurts!
